Google Ads Rolls Out Update to App Campaigns

Google is looking to maximize conversions and simplify the process of building a campaign through its new updates. Soon, users will be able to utilize maximize conversions bidding through app campaigns, which will allow them to achieve more installations in less time. To simplify image requirements, it will add three aspect ratios to scale ads and increase the image file size limit from 150KB to 5MB.

TikTok Already Has Potential Buyers

With less than three months to negotiate before being banned in the U.S., TikTok already has potential buyers. Among them are Microsoft, which is apparently facing negative responses from some of its staff, and Twitter, which is being criticized for having previously owned Vine. Another company joining the race is Oracle, a tech company that seeks to upstage Microsoft’s offerings.

Facebook Adds New Paid Event Options

To continue helping the growth of businesses affected by the pandemic, Facebbok has added a new way to increase income with a paid event option. Businesses and creators can now charge for tickets to their online events directly on Facebook. To access this option, Fan Pages will have to comply with the platform’s partner monetization policies.

Facebook Removes Over 1,000 Ad Targeting Options

Due to low usage, Facebook decided to eliminate over 1,000 ad targeting options. By making this significant reduction, the platform seeks to simplify its targeting options and avoid cases of discrimination, as it did two years ago with the removal of some 5,000 options.
