Marketing Updates With Motion Ave

August begins with some interesting developments! In this week’s edition of Marketing Updates with Motion Ave, Facebook, Google and Pinterest all bring quality of life improvements and some new features.

Search Ads Return To Facebook

Search ads return to Facebook after years of absence. “Search” now appears as an ad placement option on Facebook Ads Manager, allowing you to target specific search terms on the results page of a search on Facebook, just like Google ads. While this seems like a basic and useful option, search behavior on Facebook just isn’t the same as Google; it will require analysis of typical search terms for marketers to make search-based ads advantageous.

Pinterest Launches Mobile Ad Tool

Yet another reason Pinterest is made for mobile- now on the creator’s side. Advertisers can edit and create ad campaigns with a mobile-optimized UI and all the essential options: consolidated targeting, budgets and targeting adjustment, ad pause, and so on. For marketers, now it’s more convenient than ever to always be at work!
